Cream Cheese Frosting/Icing

4 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sweetener
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Cream the butter and cream cheese together with a hand mixer until fully combined.
  2. Add the sweetener and vanilla extract and continue to mix.
  3. Once the sweetener is blended in, continue to mix until fluffy.

Recipe notes

Leave cream cheese and butter out overnight to let them come to room temperature. Never heat these ingredients for frosting.
For chocolate icing, add 2 tbsp cocoa with the sweetener.
Icing should be used immediately, alternatively you can store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
